Artist Feature: Stephen & Eve Schaub, July 17 2017

Sit in on a conversation between Stephen & Eve about the photography industry, the evolution of "figital" photographers and the development of his artist practice.

About Stephen:

Stephen Schaubs oeuvre consists of multiple-exposures created by antiquated film cameras. Each negative contains 7 or more exposures, sometimes further overlayed through photoshop. Yet, despite his use of modern post-production technologies he is adamant that his phantasmagorical scenes are captured on film only. He's also fomulated a specific chemistry for his prints, often unique to each one.

There is only one edition of each "photograph" he creates, which not only fuels a market desire but also created a stimulating, ritual-like work flow for his artist practice.
